A powerful core is critical to your ability to handle long, hard rides, as well as to improved sprinting and climbing performance. Strength alternates core-specific, on-the-bike power intervals with off-the-bike core fitness speed work specifically targeted to building a more powerful core. It's the perfect tool to build a balanced and strong cycling core.

Robbie Ventura, accompanied by two of VisionQuest's certified fitness coaches, does the bike intervals and core routines with you. Each core fitness segment consists of prepatory movements designed to increase flexibility and strength, followed by timed speed-work routines. On the bike, you'll see Robbie's power output in watts, heart rate, cadence, speed, intensity level, and ride time. A few pieces of basic exercise equipment (a foam roller, exercise step, and stretch bands) are recommended.

A heart rate monitor and cadence-capable bike computer are recommended for best results. A power meter is beneficial but not required.
